Microblading (or eyebrow embroidery) is a relatively new, manual method in which a unique hand instrument with a small row of very fine needles that deposit pigment into the epidermis with a slicing, feathring stroke. The pigment is implanted in the basal membrane which divides the epidermis from the dermis layer of the skin. This creates very crisp, fine hair strokes that don't blur after healing.
Combination brows are just that, a combination of two different techniques. We microblade a portion of the brow and add machine shading in between the strokes or just through certain areas to "fill in". This technique is great for clients with less hair in certain areas.
Allergy to Nickel (blade)
Diabetic (Doctors note required)
Viral Infections or Diseases
Epilepsy
A Pacemaker or major heart problems
Had an Organ Transplant
Sick (cold, flu, etc.)
Taking blood thinners
Skin irritations near the area such as sunburn or Psoriasis
Taking sun sensitizing medications
Botox within last 2 weeks
Accutane within last year
History of keloid scarring
Auto-immune deficiencies
People suffering from severe acne
Pregnant or nursing women
Chemotherapy patients will need to check with their physician and provide a doctor’s note.
People with conditions that cause them to bleed very easily (this impacts results)
People with prior permanent makeup may not be good candidates. This determined by consultation
I Do NOT recommend Microblading for oily skin types. Oily skin, tends to dilute pigment under the skin & can push out the color. A traditional method of tattooing that we offer, with a machine, is more penetrating & a better option for retaining ink with oily skin. No REFUNDS will be given, due to color loss! Some skin types & working environments such as steam, laundry mats, Hot kitchens, outdoor occupations in humid weather, Salt air, & Water have a negative effect on retaining color. It is the clients responsibility to take care of the tattoo & protect the tattoo from sun & weather conditions. Refunds are Not given, but touch ups can be scheduled to add additional color & shape.
This is designed to be a gentle procedure with minimal discomfort. We pre numb the eyebrow area prior to breaking the skin and also use a secondary numbing throughout the procedure. Our clients report little to no pain!
No excessive sunlight exposure to the area going to be treated.
No Retinols\Retin-A’s, or other anti-aging creams or serums containing acids as these will fade prematurely.
No Botox for at least three weeks before and after treatment.
No chemical peels 60 days before or 60 days after (brows will peel quicker due to the chemicals traveling under the skin).
Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen 24 hours before the treatment. (Tylenol/acetaminiphen is ok).
Do not discontinue any medication without consulting your doctor first.
Reduce alcohol intake and end it two days before the treatment.
No waxing or tinting 3 days before.
Please do not work out the day of the procedure as the body heat will expand the pores.
Do NOT drink coffee or anything with caffeine the day of procedure.
Do NOT drink alcohol 24 hours before the procedure.
This question is different for everyone and will depend on your skin type and your lifestyle. In general, Microblading will last about 9-18 months before a color boost/touch up is needed and Ombre brows will last about 12-24 months before a color boost/touch up is needed. We recommend always wearing sunblock on your brows and avoiding serums and creams on the brow area for longer results.
We allocate about 2 1/2 hours to your entire appointent but usually the appointment will take about 2 hours. Once you arrive we go over your consent forms, we talk about your brow goals and discuss color and thickeness, we take before pics, then we map the shape, once shape is approved I apply numbing for about 20 minutes, then we perform the procedure and lastly we take after pics, collect payment and go over after care.
The initial deposit is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your appointment, a 48 hours notice is required. Failure to notify our studio will result in forfeiting your deposit. A new deposit will be required for future appointments. If a medical emergency arises, you must provide the proper medical documentation. Anyone more than 15 minutes late to their appointment will have to reschedule.
We strive for perfection, but every skin type metabolizes ink differently. Teeth Whitening results vary per person. Absolutely NO REFUNDS, NO exceptions.
There are no after-effects of teeth whitening. It is a safe, gentle, and done with expert supervision. Therefore, inappropriate over the counters bleaching products used at home can be too abrasive and can cause damage to the enamel. It should be performed by a professional dental tooth whitening specialist.
The effects of whitening are thought to last up to two years. However, this will vary from person to person. The effect is less likely to last as long if you smoke, or eat or drink products that can stain your teeth.
Brow Lamination is the hottest new brow trend taking the industry by storm. This treatment creates the look of added volume and fullness by combing the brow hairs over sparse areas and often upwards resulting in that perfect fluffy eyebrow look. Whether you desire a full and fluffy look or a sleek tame brow, you can achieve this in a matter of minutes with Brow Lamination.
- Anyone who is looking to improve the overall look of their brow.
- Clients with sparse brows.
- Clients who are growing out their brows.
- Men
- Clients not ready to commit to permanent make up.
- Clients with unruly, coarse brows.
- Clients with stubborn natural hair growth patterns.
Brow Lamination results will vary from client to client but in most cases last upwards to 8 weeks. Once the brow hairs have completed their rowth cycle, clients can repeat the procedure again. We recomment waiting 8-12 weeks in between lamination appointments.
* Do not wet the eyebrows for 24-48 hours.
* Avoid touching the brow area at the risk of transferring oils.
* Do not apply makeup to the brows for 24 hours post treatment.
* Do not apply Retin A, aha or exfoliate the brow are for 72 hours before or after the treatment.
* Apply brow balm daily (we suggest before bed).
* Comb the hairs into place each day.
Remember we are chemically treating the brow hairs so it is normal for the brows to feel slightly dry post-procedure. This is why the aftercare brow balm is a must.
